Make your own pair of handmade pjs with Coconut

Need a bit of inspiration for your Coconut Pyjamas sewing pattern? You have come to the right place! The new CocoWawa sewing pattern is perfect to wear in bed or for lounging at home all yea around depending on the version and fabric you go for. But that is not all. You can also wear your Coconut Pjs out and about! The top is perfect for Spring and Summer made out of linen or rayon. Want some proof? Keep reading!

So, as usual, instead of finding inspiration on the high street, we have gathered some of the versions from the amazing team of CocoWawa testers! (send us an email to hi@cocowawacrafts.com if you want to become one next time) so that you get an idea of how all the versions look.

Ready? Let's start!

Versions for the hotter months

Beautiful Louise has made this lovely version of the Coconut Pjs and I am so in love! She went for version B without the collar but left the cute ruffles on sleeves and short. Perfect!

The amazing Gyasti who makes the most incredible garments, went for a checked Coconut also using version B with no collar, simple hem on the shorts and elastic on the sleeves. So pretty! (Scroll to check how the top looks paired up with jeans. Just beautiful!).

Irene is one of our incredible Spanish testers and friends. She decided to use two different fabrics and added a super cute decorative pocket on the top. She also went for version B with no collar or added ruffles. As you can see, even though we offer two different versions, you can mix them up and make the garment your own.

Another of my favourites is the version made by Emily. She went for the shorts as she already had lots of pjs in her wardrobe so she didn't need a top. This way she can also use them to lounge at home. Emily added a little cute trim at the bottom which is such a nice touch!

Almost no words for how cool! is the version made by Bàrbara, another super Spanish tester and friend. The top is a mix between both versions. The ruffle at the collar is the one from version A and the short sleeves with ruffles is one of the main features of version B.

And now a close up of the most amazing fabric ever! How cool is this Star Wars fabric?! I need one for myself!

Bàrbara went for a simpler version of the shorts with no ruffles. Comfy and perfect for the Summer!

Cosy Winter nights

Ángela looks so comfy in her Coconut Pjs! She went for version A with long sleeves and trousers. The main difference and a great hack? She stitched the bias tape used to create the casing for the ruffle effect on the outside!

Like she explained to me, she thought the fabric was a bit plain, so she chose a colourful tape to give it more life. So cute!

Kathy has been a tester many times for CocoWawa and always her makes and versions are simply beautiful. She chose this lovely flowery print and combined short sleeves with long trousers. Her version is also option A mixed with short sleeves. Perfect!

Wear them out and about!

Last, we wanted to highlight how cool both the Coconut tops look as daytime tops paired with jeans, skirts or jumpsuits. Gyasti (from up in the post) wore hers with jeans and well, I just want to make a 100 of them for the Summer!

Raquel also went for a version that she could wear out and about. How beautiful made in black linen!
