Crafters - Frank & Olive

Frank and Olive crochet rug tutorial

Hi everybody!

This week's 'Crafter's to Love' section comes with a great surprise for crocheters... An amazing free pattern to make a rug by super fun crochet brand Frank and Olive! Yay! Ruby McGrath is the talented crochet designer based in York behind this amazing brand that offers super cool crochet patterns for both beginners and advanced crocheters (you can check them all on their Etsy shop).

She started the brand when she couldn't find anything that she liked for her two-year-old girl so she started crocheting! Also she wanted to change the usual views people had on crochet and give a twist to the classical patterns, using colourful yarn and modern designs. After that she has been featured in Mollie Makes, Simply Crochet and Inside Crochet, and she teaches at the popular Handmade Fair in London and has even extended her business collaborating with other crochet teachers all around the UK! :) Her last project has been creating super cool corchet retreats for anyone wanting to learn crochet or for more advanced crocheters.

For Coco Wawa she has created an easy pattern to make a rug using our chunky jersey yarn and we couldn't like it more! So here are the instructions Ruby has written for us and all the steps you need to follow to make this beautiful t-shirt yarn rug :)
