Play Masks is part of illustrator Sarah Jane’s collection Let’s Pretend for textile manufacturer Michael Miller. This delicate fabric is sold by the quarter metre (50x55cm). These squares of fabric are called “fat quarters”. To purchase more than one of these fat quarters, the fabric will be cut on a continuous length with the final quarter of any odd-numbered quantity cut as a “skinny quarter.” In the case that you wanted to purchase one metre, you just need to write number 4 in the box when buying. If it is two metres, then the number will be 8, and so on. Minimum order is 2 fat quarters.

The table below will hopefully help you decide on your purchase:

1 Unit – 55cm wide x 50cm long
2 Units – 110cm wide x 50cm long
3 Units – 110cm wide x 75cm long
4 Units – 110cm wide x 100cm long

How to take care of your fabric: Usually, before starting a new sewing or craft project, it is a good idea to wash the fabric as it may shrinks later. It is not always mandatory, so it comes to your personal choice. At Coco Wawa we recommend a gentle wash, before and after starting any project and for future care, as it is the best option to take care of the colour and fibers for a much longer period of time. Machine wash cold with the same type of colours, tumble dry for a short time if necessary and iron it at medium temperature.

If you have any questions regarding measurements or anything else, please don’t hesitate to send me an email and I will be more than happy to assist you.

Happy sewing and crafting!
