This fabric, part of the collection First Light designed by Eloise Renouf, is sold by the quarter metre (50x55cm). These squares are commonly called “fat quarters”. If you would like to buy more than one, the fabric will be cut on a continuous length with the final quarter of any odd-numbered quantity cut as a “skinny quarter.” For one metre, you just need to enter the number 4 in the box when buying. Minimum order is 2 fat quarters.
The table below will hopefully help you decide on your purchase:
1 Unit – 55cm wide x 50cm long
2 Units – 110cm wide x 50cm long
3 Units – 110cm wide x 75cm long
4 Units – 110cm wide x 100cm long
How to take care of your fabric: Before starting a new project, it is recommended to wash the fabric you have bought as it may shrinks later. It is not always necessary, so it comes to your personal choice. As per Cloud 9 Fabrics instructions, before or after finishing your project, a gentle wash is the best option as it will take care of the colour and fibers for a longer time. Machine wash cold with the same type of colours, tumble dry for a short time and iron it at medium temperature.
