Get to know who's behind CocoWawa
Hi! I am Ana, the woman in the pic ;) I am a pattern designer and tutor and the sole owner (and member of staff!) at CocoWawa Crafts, an independent online sewing and quilting pattern company.
You can learn how to make your own clothes with my easy-to-follow beginner garment patterns. They are perfect to build up your techniques from sewing with jersey to creating a button placket or a dress with a lovely ruffle on the sleeve. The CocoWawa Crafts patterns work all year around depending on the fabric you choose. They feature comfy designs and geometric shapes with a sweet aesthetic and cute distinctive details. Simple and nice patterns for all sewing levels.
Apart from dressmaking patterns, I also design modern quilt patterns, perfect for beginners and for those dressmakers wanting to learn to quilt.
Our sewing and quilting patterns are available as digital downloadable PDFs to either print-at-home, using the A4 option, or to take to a copy-shop place, for the A0 version.
On the blog and YouTube
You can also check out my blog to know more about new patterns releases, find sewing inspiration, tutorials, sew and quilt-alongs, as well as guest posts from your favourite makers in the community and more.
Apart from the website, you can find me on my YouTube Channel, where I share what I've been making, my visits to craft fairs, tutorials and reviews. Also, if you have bought one of the CocoWawa patterns, you can follow a detailed step-by-step video for each one of them.
Online sewing classes
Would you like to learn how to make your own clothes? Do you have fitting issues with a garment / sewing pattern and need someone to help you out and give you advice? Someone gifted you a sewing machine but you don’t know how to use it? Or maybe it is not working properly and you would like someone to take a look? You have come to the right place!
At CocoWawa, I offer private online virtual sewing class using Google Meet, in which you will be the only student in the class. The price per hour is 35 euros plus VAT, paid via Paypal and prior to the class. We can customize the classes to fit your purposes, choose projects together and set up goals along the way. It doesn´t matter where you live, we can make it work.
And now, I am also offering quilting and patchwork themed online virtual classes. These are aimed at beginners and dressmakers wanting to make their first quilt or patchwork project.
Regarding my education, I studied 'Pattern cutting for womens wear' and 'Professional Sewing Techniques' at the London College of Fashion. I have been teaching sewing and quilting since 2018.
If you need more information or if you have any questions, please send me an email to email@example.com
Thanks a lot for your visit and happy sewing and quilting,
