About CocoWawa

Ana is a sewing and quilting teacher based in Spain

Hi! I am Ana, the woman in the pic ;) I am the pattern designer and owner at CocoWawa Crafts, an independent online sewing pattern company. You can learn to sew with our patterns for women and children. They are perfect to build up your techniques from sewing with jersey to making a button placket or a dress with a lovely ruffle on the sleeve. The CocoWawa Crafts patterns from our sewing pattern company work all year around depending on the fabric you choose. They feature comfy designs and geometric shapes with a sweet aesthetic and cute distinctive details. Simple and nice patterns for all sewing levels.

Apart from dressmaking patterns, we have also launched a new line for you to learn to quilt. You can choose between the more advanced Dewdrop Quilt pattern or the Novice Stripe Quilt, perfect for beginners and that also comes as an exciting online course that you can take from the comfort of your home.

Our sewing and quilting patterns are available as downloadable PDFs.

On the blog and YouTube

You can also follow our blog to know more about new patterns releases. There, you will find sewing inspiration, useful tutorials, sewalongs and guest posts from your favourite makers in the community. If you fancy more watching than reading, CocoWawa also has a YouTube Channel. From fabric hauls, to how-to videos and hacks, there is something for everyone. Also, if you have bought one of our patterns, you can learn how to make them with our step-by-step video tutorials.

Virtual sewing classes

Would you like to learn how to make your own clothes? Do you have fitting issues with a garment / sewing pattern and need someone to help you out and give you advice? Someone gifted you a sewing machine but you don’t know how to use it? Or maybe it is not working properly and you would like someone to take a look? You have come to the right place! 🙂

At CocoWawa, I offer private online virtual sewing class using Google Meet, in which you will be the only student in the class. The price per hour is 35 euros plus VAT, paid via Paypal and prior to the class. We can customize the classes to fit your purposes, choose projects together and set up goals along the way. It doesn´t matter where you live, we can make it work.

And now, I am also offering quilting and patchwork themed virtual classes to all those interested. These are aimed for beginners and for dressmakers who would like to sew their first quilt or patchwork project.

Regarding my education, I studied 'Pattern cutting for womens wear' and 'Professional Sewing Techniques' at the London College of Fashion.
