During Spring and Summer: light to medium weight fabrics. For instance: cotton, chambray, linen, light denim, viscose, rayon, double gauze, cotton lawn...

Throughout Autumn and Winter: medium weight fabrics. For example: velvet, light weight corduroy, needlecord or babycord, tweed, fine wool, light denim... In other words, fabrics that are not too heavy so that the waist is not very bulky.
